Introduction of the Job
Thermax Limited is looking for an experienced Process Engineer for its Pune facility. The Process Engineer Job role involves EPC process design for biogas, power, and oil & gas projects, including PFD/P&ID development, hydraulic calculations, equipment specifications, and vendor coordination.
Job Details for Process Engineer Job Role:
- Work on preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment technical specifications
- Perform hydraulic calculations and pressure drop analysis
- Prepare bid documents, conduct technical bid evaluations, and support pre-order and post-order technical processes
- Review vendor drawings, ensure compliance, and provide manufacturing clearance
- Lead process design for material handling systems (screens, shredders, conveyors)
- Coordinate with piping, electrical, civil, and procurement teams
- Apply piping material specifications and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
- Conduct site visits, inspections, lab environment and resolve technical queries
