About IISER Pune:
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a premier institute dedicated to research and teaching in the basic sciences. Established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (now Ministry of Education), IISER Pune was declared an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament in 2012.
The institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following post under the privately funded project titled “Development of Self-Assembling Antibody-Drug Conjugates (SADCs) as Next-Generation Cancer Therapeutics.”
Post Details of MSc Chemistry Jobs:
- Name of the Post: Project Assistant
- Number of Posts: 01 (One)
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. / M.S. degree in Chemistry
- Preference: Candidates with research experience will be preferred.
- Job Requirements:
- Synthesis of linkers
- Synthesis of payloads
- Synthesis of intermediates
- Tenure: Initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project continuation.
- Consolidated Emoluments: ₹19,840/- per month + 24% HRA
- Age Limit (as on last date): Not more than 32 years.
Age relaxation may be considered for candidates with higher qualifications or relevant experience, subject to competent authority approval.

Selection Process:

- Recent passport-size color photograph.
General Information:
- The appointment is purely temporary and will automatically terminate upon project completion without any notice or compensation.
- The selected candidate for this MSc Chemistry Jobs will have no claim to absorption or a regular appointment at IISER Pune or the funding agency.
- The rules and terms of the funding agency specific to the project will govern the appointment.
- The prescribed date for determining age, qualification, and experience will be the last date for application submission.
- Educational qualifications must be from recognized universities or institutions.
- Possession of minimum qualifications does not entitle a candidate to be called for an interview. The number of candidates may be restricted based on the screening committee’s recommendations.
- The number of Research Project posts may vary depending on requirements.
- Experience requirements may be relaxed with prior approval of the competent authority.
- If a selected candidate does not join or resigns, the post may be offered to the next candidate on the waitlist.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
