Educational Requirements:

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related field.

Proven knowledge of hair care actives, including formulations for hair growth, color, and greying treatments.
Key Responsibilities for Lead Applications Scientist Job Role:

Develop and market Croda’s hair care products in India.

Evaluate and formulate new and existing products to meet market needs.

Design and conduct laboratory experiments; analyze data and troubleshoot issues.

Lead validation studies in the PVCS lab and support less experienced staff.

Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams, responding to customer inquiries and co-developing formulations.

Collaborate across R&D, marketing, and sales teams to communicate project developments.

Independently plan and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of data and formulations.

Support new product launches, develop test methodologies, and enhance existing formulations.

Continuously update knowledge of hair care market trends and technical applications.
