Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma in Chemical Engineering or a Graduate in Science (Chemistry/Pesticides)

Experience Required:

  • 3–6 years in Agro-Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Specialty Chemical, or Pesticide Industries

Skills Required:

  • Hands-on shop floor operations and equipment handling with hazardous chemicals
  • Strong knowledge of reactor, ANFD, and distillation column operations
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork, especially in shift operations

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and execute daily production activities and meet shift-wise targets
  • Coordinate breakdown resolution with the Engineering Dept. and implement alternate arrangements
  • Ensure operations follow SOPs, work instructions, and maintain accurate log records
  • Minimize changeover time and carry out equipment decontamination
  • Monitor raw material stock and inform Plant In-Charge for timely procurement
  • Control wastage and ensure efficient manpower allocation
  • Ensure smooth shift handovers with proper communication of plant status and production data
  • Ensure compliance with quality policies, including FG inspection and QC coordination
  • Execute monthly production plans issued by HOD/Plant In-Charge
  • Ensure high-quality production with minimal batch failures
