Skills and Knowledge

Technical Expertise: Knowledge of electronic/mechanical components, Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, part numbering systems, materials science, and testing/validation methodologies. SAP and PLM software understanding.

Component Lifecycle Management: Experience handling component obsolescence, change notifications, and second-source strategies.

Compliance and Regulatory Skills: Understanding of industry standards such as RoHS, REACH, and regulatory compliance requirements. Ability to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

Data Analytics: Ability to analyze patterns and trends in compliance data. Experience reviewing Full Material Declarations (FMD), Certificates of Compliance, and supplier declarations.

Problem-solving: Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving compliance-related issues. Chemical Engineer Job role requires the above skills
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering).

2–4 years of experience in an industrial environment with material compliance is required for this Chemical Engineer Job role

Main Tasks and Duties

Maintain and cleanse material compliance master data.

Ensure product and master data correctness in material compliance.

Create new material objects in PDM system.

Collaborate with suppliers as per regulatory guidelines.

Manage purchasing parts throughout their lifecycle.

Create purchasing specifications for supplier products and designed parts.

Work with engineers and product coordinators for new data requests.
Responsibilities for Chemical Engineer Job Role

PDM part and material object creation across Systems and Connectivity article groups.

Maintain product and master data compliance.

Support development processes efficiently.

Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with specifications.

Continuously update technological knowledge.

Meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements for Technical Product Coordination.
