Internship Role – Nuclear & Power Division
The Nuclear & Power division provides multi-disciplinary engineering support to all project stages for owners, operators, regulators, and suppliers. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute across various engineering areas, including Mechanical, Civil, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, and Chemical Engineering, within the nuclear power, aerospace, petrochemical, oil & gas, and conventional power industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in design and engineering tasks, including Finite Element Modeling (ABAQUS/ANSYS), structural analysis, and equipment specification.
- Support chemical engineering processes such as reactor cooling, fuel handling, waste treatment, and process simulations.
- Assist in control system and instrumentation tasks, including SCADA, PLC, and DCS monitoring, testing, and calibration.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and operational instructions.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with nuclear regulations and safety standards.
Qualification & Experience Requirements for this Chemical Engineering Job:
- Suitable degree in Mechanical, Control Systems & Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering.
- 0–1 year experience in nuclear, power, oil & gas, or other highly regulated industrial environments.
- Familiarity with FEM software (ABAQUS, ANSYS), CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, CHEMCAD), and data analysis tools (MATLAB, Python, Excel).
- Understanding of international design codes (ASME BPVC Section III, ASME B31.1) and nuclear safety standards (NRC, IAEA).

- Excellent written and verbal communication, with report writing skills.
