Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – TIFR Mumbai, Department of Chemical Sciences
The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, is inviting applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the Department of Chemical Sciences (DCS).
Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related fields with at least 60% marks.
- Qualified UGC-CSIR NET, GATE, or equivalent national-level Ph.D. entrance tests such as JEST or TIFR-GS.
Desirable: Research experience in physical chemistry, materials science, and electrochemistry.
Job Role: The selected JRF will be actively involved in the formation of novel materials and their performance evaluation as electrodes in solar batteries and photoelectrochemical cells. Nature & Tenure of Fellowship:

Initially for 1 year, with the option to extend up to 2 additional years based on performance evaluation.
Fellowship: ₹37,000/- per month + HRA
