The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Chemical Sciences (DCS).

Eligibility Criteria for JRF Vacancy at TIFR:
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, or related fields with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Must have qualified UGC-CSIR NET, GATE, or equivalent national-level Ph.D. entrance exams (such as JEST/TIFR-GS).
- Desirable: Research experience in physical chemistry, material science, spectroscopy, knowledge of optical properties of materials, and Fourier Transform techniques.
Age Limit:
Preferably below 28 years as on 01.07.2025Nature and Tenure of the Post:

Initially for 1 year, extendable for an additional year as a JRF based on performance evaluation.

Fellowship: ₹37,000/- per month + HRA
