Project Research Scientist – II (Non-Medical) at VIT, Vellore
Applications are invited for the position of Project Research Scientist – II [Postdoctoral Fellow] under the Extramural Research Programme: Investigator Initiated Projects – Intermediate Grant, funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
The project will be carried out at the Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular and Molecular Theranostics (CBCMT) of the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Tamil Nadu.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nanotechnology, Material Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or equivalent.
Desirable Skills:

Hands-on experience in medical implants, surface engineering, antimicrobial research, tissue engineering, biomaterials, or animal experimentation.
Fellowship / Stipend:
- ₹67,000 + 10% HRA per month (Years 1–2)
- ₹73,700 per month (Year 3)
- ₹77,385 per month thereafter
Duration: 3 years
