Hikal Limited, a trusted name in pharmaceuticals and specialty chemicals, is hiring Junior Officers for its Jigani Unit I, Karnataka. This is an excellent opportunity for a B.Sc. Chemistry graduates who are eager to work in a regulated environment and contribute to the production of high-quality APIs and intermediates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support production activities as per the plan under senior management guidance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, batch records, and production-related documentation.
- Ensure raw materials and batch sheets are available on time.
- Coordinate with QC and Engineering for analysis and maintenance tasks.
- Follow GMP, cGMP, EHS, and plant safety guidelines strictly.
- Monitor parameters such as temperature, pH, and pressure during batch processing.
- Record abnormalities and deviations and ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Maintain housekeeping and equipment cleanliness for audit readiness.
- Prepare instructions (BPCR, BCLR, SOP checklists) for API and intermediate production.
- Oversee calibrations, facility maintenance, and environmental conditions.
- Supervise contract workers’ performance, health, and hygiene.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: B.Sc. in Chemistry
- Experience in a US FDA-approved facility is preferred, particularly in powder processing.
- Skills in cGMP, good documentation practices, safety, manpower management, and communication.
