Key Performance Indicators
- Ensure adherence to production processes as outlined in the established procedures and instructions.
- Perform required transactions and process records in SAP.
- Update safety, environmental, and quality records on a regular basis.
- Report production details, progress, and issues to superiors.
- Plan shift activities, including manpower, machinery, and batch scheduling.
- Coordinate closely with the packing and service departments for timely target completion.
- Handle shopfloor issues to minimize production and breakdown losses.
- Deploy operators and ensure batch charging/processing according to the planned schedule.
- Lead and supervise the shift-based team of operators and contractors.
- Ensure that all in-process checks are completed according to process guidelines.
- Fill out shift reports and update efficiency records at shift end.
- Record equipment breakdowns, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and waste generation in respective portals.
- Ensure smooth shift changeovers with proper handovers and takeovers.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, PPEs, and production consumables.
- Maintain shopfloor and equipment hygiene.
- Uphold 5S practices within the section.
- Actively participate in organizational safety, environment, and health initiatives.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement them in the workplace.
