Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor product stewardship programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support the Product Stewardship team with systems, procedures, and compliance tracking.
- Update and maintain the chemical composition database using Excel or other tools.
- Review products and provide TSCA status for U.S. shipments regularly.
- Perform chemical classifications of substances and mixtures as per GHS guidelines and dangerous goods classifications.
- Authorize Safety Data Sheets (SDS) using UL WERCS.
- Handle internal and external queries related to SDS and chemical compliance.
- Maintain product stewardship trackers regularly.
- Support review of new and existing products for compliance with legislation.
- Interact with global customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and hazard communication.
- Lead product stewardship projects and assist managers in achieving business objectives.
Experience Required
- 2+ years in hazard communication, chemical hazard assessment, and SDS development.
- Strong knowledge of GHS classification and TSCA regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master of Science in Chemistry or related life sciences.
- Knowledge of chemical compliance and regulations (CLP, GHS, TSCA) with regional expertise in Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Malaysia preferred.
- Project management experience with strong systems knowledge in product lifecycle management and SDS authoring tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with global chemical compliance standards.
