Job Description
The Junior Officer – Packing will monitor and execute packing activities during shifts while ensuring compliance with cGMP and safety norms. The role focuses on achieving production targets, maintaining system integrity, and supporting documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute shift packing activities by managing resources and reducing machine downtime.
- Review documentation and monitor critical in-process packing parameters.
- Ensure compliance with GMP and safety norms while maintaining online documentation in SAP and CipDox.
- Conduct equipment qualification, calibration, and maintain system integrity.
- Train staff and workers on equipment handling, GMP, documentation, and safety.
- Monitor adherence to safety guidelines and ensure proper usage of PPEs.
- Suggest process improvements to reduce cycle time and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with QA, engineering, safety, stores, and maintenance contractors for smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Education: B. Pharm. / B.Sc. (Chemistry).
- Experience: 1–5 years in pharmaceutical packing with knowledge of QMS activities, qualifications, and documentation.
- Skills: Strong understanding of cGMP, safety norms, packing processes, and documentation compliance.
Major Challenges
- Meeting shift targets with limited resources through efficient workload distribution.
- Maintaining cGMP requirements during system downtime with engineering support.
