Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and validate wet chemistry and chromatographic methods (HPLC, GC, GPC, IC, CIC).
- Perform routine and advanced analyses using cutting-edge chromatographic instrumentation and detectors (UV/Vis, PDA, RID, FID, MS, ELSD).
- Lead analytical projects in collaboration with global teams, focusing on local business and R&I needs in India.
- Interpret and report analytical data with accuracy and scientific integrity.
- Mentor junior team members while ensuring lab safety and sustainability practices.
- Collaborate with vendors for instrument procurement, upgrades, and repairs.
Education and Experience
- PhD in Analytical Chemistry with 3–5 years of industrial experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in chromatography (HPLC, GC, IC, CIC, GPC), spectroscopy (FTIR, UV-Vis, Mass Spec, Raman), wet chemistry, and structure-property analysis.
- Proven experience in method development for organic, surfactants, and polymer chemistry.
Must-Have Skills
- Deep knowledge of safe lab practices.
- Expertise in chromatography or wet chemistry.
- Strong customer orientation, problem-solving, and teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of digital lab systems and advanced data analysis.
