Job Description
Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate-I temporarily in the Organic Chemistry Division (ORG) at CSIR-NCL, Pune. The position is under the sponsored project titled:
“Harnessing Electro/Electrophoto-Catalysis for Deconstruction of Halogenated Polymers to Value-Added Chemicals.”
Key Responsibilities
- Synthesis of ligands and catalysts.
- Design catalysts for the deconstruction of halogenated polymers under electro/electrophoto-catalytic conditions.
- Characterization of polymers and deconstruction products.
Qualifications
- Essential: Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Desirable: Research experience in multi-step organic synthesis, electro/photo-catalysis, and metal catalysis.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/PWD/Women, and 3 years for OBC).
Benefits & Emoluments
- ₹37,000/- + HRA for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship) or GATE or equivalent national-level exams.
- ₹30,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under the above category.
