Job Title: Scientist
Job Description
The Scientist role at BSV involves:
- Thorough knowledge of HPLC-based analysis of recombinant proteins (RP-HPLC, SE-HPLC, glycan analysis).
- Independent method development of proteins, qualification, and transfer as per ICH/USP/EP/IP guidelines, including writing and reviewing protocols, transfer plans, and reports.
- Performing day-to-day analytical work in coordination with cell culture and downstream teams in Biotech R&D.
- Setting up product-related test/release specifications and analytical protocols for biotech products.
- Designing in-house or outsourced methods for physico-chemical characterization of biological products.
- Coordinating with QC for the smooth implementation of new methods.
- Maintaining equipment logs and laboratory documentation.
- Monitoring and maintaining product stability in biotech projects.
- Preparing laboratory-related documents, regulatory submission documents, and QC support documents (SOP, STP, COA, MOA, Specification).
- Interpreting data and writing reports for regulatory submissions.
- Reviewing analytical data for in-process and stability-related activities.
Skills & Attributes Required
- Strong technical expertise in protein analysis and HPLC methods.
- Knowledge of global regulatory guidelines (ICH/USP/EP/IP).
- Excellent coordination, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across R&D and QC teams.
