Key Responsibilities:
- Synthesize, purify, and characterize novel chemical compounds.
- Deliver small to large quantities of new chemical entities for drug discovery.
- Work collaboratively in teams to advance chemistry projects.
- Conduct reactions safely and follow laboratory best practices.
- Analyze data using NMR, IR, and Mass Spectrometry.
- Perform TLC, column purification, extraction, and retrosynthetic analysis.
- Maintain accurate electronic lab notebooks (ELN) and structure drawings.
- Search literature using Reaxys and present research findings effectively.
Education and Experience:
- Qualification: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or related field / M.Pharm.
- Experience: 1–5 years in the pharmaceutical/CRO industry.
- Strong expertise in organic synthesis, functional group conversion, multi-step synthesis, and pyrophoric reactions.
- Proficiency in ChemDraw/ISIS, MS Office, and ELN systems.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
