Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or Master’s in Chemistry (preferably 2+ years of experience).
- Core Skills: Curiosity, resilience, knowledge of surfactant science, ability to apply new Science & Technology.
- Data & Digital Fluency: Experience in interpreting datasets, visualization (JMP/BI/Excel), and data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Strong stakeholder engagement and flexible influencing skills.
Job Purpose
As the Global Fabric Cleaning Powders Ecodesign R&D Associate, you will report to the Sr. Product Development Manager, working to build the Ecodesign technology toolbox for fabric powders. You will scope, identify, test, validate, and scale up new Ecodesign technologies, ensuring they meet chemical, physical, and sensorial standards for laboratory and consumer validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and validate new cost- and GHG-efficient technology solutions.
- Develop and validate formulations to deliver Ecodesign chassis changes in powders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across BUs and R&D functions (Appraisal, Claims, Process, Safety).
- Accelerate formulation changes for savings using digital tools (e.g., modelling, data visualization).
