Job Description
The Executive QA will be responsible for ensuring that inspections, quality checks, and related activities are conducted under the defined quality system. The role involves approving conforming product batches for packing, maintaining quality documentation, coordinating with production teams, and supporting audits, stability studies, and customer complaint analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the status of product batches across production units and obtain relevant instructions from previous shifts.
- Approve and track conforming and pending batches, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Implement 5S activities in the QA lab and the shop floor.
- Maintained updated records, ledgers, and log books for batch testing.
- Calibrate instruments such as the colorimeter, viscometer, and gyroshaker.
- Inspect finished products and intermediates against set specifications.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve deviations and prevent them from recurring.
- Conduct audits, stability studies, and other required quality tests.
- Manage customer complaints, ensuring timely feedback within system timelines.
- Provide high-quality data for monthly reporting and support technical teams in evaluating new products.
Qualifications
- Preferred: B.Sc. in Chemistry
- Desirable: M.Sc. in Chemistry
- Experience: 1–3 years in a similar QA or production quality role.
