Job Description
As a Quality Control Officer at Avantor, you will be responsible for the timely analysis of samples, ensuring compliance with ISO and cGMP standards, and contributing to the excellence of product quality. This role involves working with analytical instruments such as HPLC and GC, and performing wet analysis, while supporting the implementation and documentation of ISO
processes.Key Responsibilities
- Perform timely analysis of under-test samples and provide results promptly.
- Coordinate with tollers regarding quality-related issues and clarifications.
- Conduct sampling and analysis for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
- Ensure compliance with Analytical Test Reports (ATR).
- Assist the team in ISO implementation and maintain relevant documentation.
- Operate and maintain instruments such as HPLC and GC, and perform wet analysis.
- Train and supervise operators, monitor waste generation, and ensure zero accidents.
- Maintain ISO 9001:2015, SAP, and GMP-compliant analytical records.
- Participate in the Emergency Response Team and train other team members.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry.
- Experience: 2-5 years in Quality Control, preferably in fine chemicals or pharmaceutical industries.
- Skills: Knowledge of cGMP, ISO standards, regulatory audits, calibration, standard preparation, and analytical documentation.
