About the Institution :
The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. It is responsible for setting quality standards for drugs, promoting patient safety through pharmacovigilance, and enhancing public health through the application of regulatory science. IPC also coordinates national programmes like the Materiovigilance Programme of India, aimed at monitoring and ensuring the safety of medical devices across the country.
Details of Manpower Requirement:
Salary: 32,000 INR

Qualification & Experience:
- Graduation in Biomedical Engineering / Clinical Engineering OR – Master’s in Pharmacy / Doctor of Pharmacy
- Good knowledge of computers is desirable
- 0–1 year experience in Pharmacovigilance/ Surveillance/ Medical Devices/ Quality Assurance/ Regulatory Affairs or Quality Management System
Job Description:
- To manage the adverse event related to Medical Devices (collection, deletion, collation & analysis).
- Planning of risk identification and risk minimization related to Medical Devices Adverse Events.
- Or any other duty assigned by the competent authority from time to time.
The interested candidate should produce originals along with self-attested copies of all educational qualification certificates, including experience certificates and other documentary proofs, at the time of the interview.

- 01 Passport size photograph
- Aadhaar card (original)
- One set of copies of all original documents

Period of Engagement:
The tenure of the contract will be for one year. However, in case the work and conduct of the staff are not found to be satisfactory during the contract tenure, the services may be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof.
General Instructions:
- The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies and reject/select/cancel applications received without assigning any reason.
- The interview will be conducted at NIPER Hajipur. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
- The candidate is responsible for the correctness of the information provided in the application. If it is found at a later stage that any information given in the application is incorrect/false, the candidature/appointment is liable to be cancelled/terminated.

Candidates are requested to report to the venue at NIPER Hajipur, Dist. Vaishali, Bihar, at 10.00 A.M. Latecomers will not be entertained.
