Position Available under NTRF-Sponsored Project:
The Tea Research Association’s Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Jorhat, Assam, invites eligible candidates to attend a walk-in interview for the post of Research Fellow (Temporary) under the project “Exploiting the Alternate Cost-Effective Potash Sources for Sustainable Tea Production in Northeast India” (Project Code: NTRF: 224/2024), sponsored by NTRF.
Position Details:
- Post Name: Research Fellow
- No. of Posts: 01 (One)
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years
- Essential Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc. in Soil Science or Chemistry
- Desirable Qualification & Experience: Research experience in the relevant field
- Monthly Fellowship: ₹20,000/- + 8% HRA
Job Responsibilities:
- Laboratory and field work
- Soil sample collection from tea gardens
- Monitoring of field experiments
- Sample collection and laboratory analysis
- Data generation, compilation, and report preparation
Project Duration: 1 year 10 months (purely temporary, co-terminus with the project).

Walk-in Interview Venue: Neem Them Hall, Tocklai Tea Research Institute, TRA, Jorhat (Candidates must report on or before 10:00 AM. Late arrivals will not be considered.)

Candidates should bring a set of self-attested photocopies of qualifications, mark sheets, experience certificates, and proof of date of birth, along with the original documents for verification.
