CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nehru Marg, Nagpur 440 020 invites applications for Project Associate–II under the project titled:
“Evaluation of Existing Environmental Management System and Suggestions for Improvement, if any at Nayara Refinery Complex (CNP-2930)”

Position Details

  • Position Code: 2.2 PAT-II

  • Position Title: Project Associate–II

  • No. of Posts: 02

Essential Qualification:

M.E. / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology

Job Requirements:

  • Modeling studies using Aspen, Comsol, etc.

  • Reactor systems design

  • Monitoring and control of GHG emissions

Upper Age Limit:

35 years (as on the last date of application)

Monthly Emoluments:

(i) ₹35,000 + HRA for candidates qualified through:

  • CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship or Assistant Professorship)

  • GATE

  • National level exams conducted by Central Govt. agencies/institutions

(ii) ₹28,000 + HRA for others

Mode of Selection:

Online Interview (via MS Teams / Skype)

Important Instructions:

  • These positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

  • Candidates awaiting final results or in their final semester are not eligible.

  • No application fee required.

  • Experience will be counted only after the essential qualification.

  • Engagement may be terminated anytime with a one-month notice.

  • No TA/DA for offline interviews.

  • HRA is admissible; the candidates must arrange accommodation.

Terms and Conditions:

  • No claim for future CSIR posts.

  • Maximum project staff engagement not to exceed five years.

  • Performance review and fund availability will determine extensions.

  • Subject to CSIR guidelines for research ethics and governance.
