Company Introduction: The Main Group Organometallic Chemistry Lab at IIT Gandhinagar, led by Prof. Priyabrata Ghana, has an immediate opening for a Junior Research Fellow position funded by Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).
Project Description:
Project Description: The candidate will design and synthesize low-valent transition metal complexes for the catalytic conversion of inexpensive and abundant small molecules (e.g., N2, NH3, H2, CO, CO2, ethylene) into value-added chemicals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- M.Sc. or BS-MS in chemistry from a reputed institute in India, with a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onwards, and 55% or equivalent in class 10th and 12th.
- GATE or CSIR-UGC NET qualification
Desirable Skills:
- Good knowledge of Inorganic and organometallic chemistry
- Some experience in synthetic chemistry
- Good communication skills
Remuneration: Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA (if not available campus accommodation)
