Role Overview:
The Bioproduction Group – Purification and Pharma Analytics division is hiring a motivated Field Application Scientist with expertise in protein purification to support Poros® and CaptureSelect® (CS) resin technologies. The role includes optimization, troubleshooting, and downstream processing of monoclonal antibodies, bispecifics, and vaccines at key bioprocessing customer sites across India.
Key Responsibilities for Field Application Scientist Role:

Conduct knowledge seminars to showcase Poros® and CS resin technologies.

Support resin evaluations at customer sites with SOPs and development guidance.

Collaborate with cell culture teams to map ongoing molecule development.

Provide technical support for high-throughput purification using Poros and CS resins.

Assist in scale-up, column packing, and CIP procedures.

Address customer-specific issues and develop optimized solutions.

Represent Poros and CS technologies at key industry events.

Drive awareness and adoption of new product innovations (NPIs).

Achieve country-specific design-in and development targets.
Education and Experience:

Master’s or Ph.D. in biochemistry, bioengineering, biology, chemistry, or related fields.

3–5 years of experience in downstream processing or biomanufacturing.
Required Skills for Field Application Scientist Role:

Strong knowledge of protein chemistry and bioprocessing.

Experience with column/membrane chromatography (affinity, ion exchange, SEC, etc.).

Hands-on experience with AKTA purification systems and TFF instruments.

Familiarity with protein analytics (HPLC, CGE, ELISA).

Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Willingness to travel extensively and work with regional/global teams.
