Job Description:
Opella is seeking a Junior Scientific Writer to join its high-impact scientific content team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will contribute to the development of scientific and educational materials such as abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and slide decks. You’ll collaborate closely with medical stakeholders, product managers, and external partners to ensure timely, accurate, and impactful publication content aligned with the organization’s mission to bring health into people’s hands.
Main Responsibilities:
- Content Development
- Create high-quality scientific content under supervision (e.g., abstracts, posters, manuscripts, slide decks).
- Ensure documentation and approval through PromoMats/iEnvision systems.
- Collaboration
- Work with medical affairs, scientific communication teams, MSLs, and product managers to deliver tailored content.
- Coordinate with vendors and healthcare professionals for publication-related requirements.
- Strategic Contribution
- Assist in analyzing publication needs, supporting the execution of regional publication plans.
- Adapt content based on end-user feedback and support continuous improvement.
About You:
- Experience: Up to 2 years in scientific/medical content creation in pharma, healthcare, or academia.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, teamwork.
- Technical Skills: Publication planning, domain knowledge, familiarity with publication tools/platforms.
- Education: Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a Medical degree (MBBS, BDS, etc.).
- Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English.
