About the Role:
Unilever’s Science & Technology team in Home Care is driving innovation in sustainable formats like powders, capsules, bars, and liquids. The Research Executive – Product Engineering will contribute to global R&D efforts in developing next-gen materials and product engineering technologies with a strong materials chemistry and polymer science background.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead research in materials, rheology, microstructure, and processing for solid home care formats

Collaborate with international teams, academic researchers, and suppliers

Translate science into actionable solutions that align with business strategy

Perform analytical testing, characterization, and scale-up in the lab and pilot plant
-
Use digital tools and DoE (Design of Experiments) for modeling and innovation
-
Contribute to product improvement, sustainability goals, and technology transfer
Qualifications & Skills:
-
BE/BTech in Materials Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with polymer specialization

3+ years’ experience in R&D or FMCG/pharma industries

In-depth understanding of thermodynamics, material science, and unit operations

Digital proficiency, hands-on with statistical tools like DoE
-
Excellent project management, communication, and documentation skills
