Job Overview
As an Analytical Scientist – oral Solid Dosage, you will play a critical role in developing, validating, and transferring analytical methods to ensure the quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of oral solid formulations. You’ll collaborate closely with formulation teams, manufacturing sites, and QC units, making a direct impact on the lifecycle of drug development and commercialization.
Analytical Scientist Job Opportunity – Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate analytical methods for oral solid dosage products.
- Perform drug master file and literature reviews; procure necessary columns and standards.
- Conduct method transfer and validation activities in line with regulatory expectations.
- Document analytical data and submit reports for internal review and regulatory filing.
- Train QC personnel during technology transfer to manufacturing locations.
- Ensure equipment calibration and laboratory maintenance as per GLP and SOP standards.
- Maintain a controlled lab environment and organize records for audits and inspections.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Analytical Scientist Job Opportunity – Candidate Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Analytical R&D, preferably in oral solid dosage forms.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, UV, dissolution, etc.)
- Familiarity with ICH, USFDA, EU, and global regulatory guidelines
- High attention to detail and strong documentation/reporting skills
- Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams
