Project Title: “Decarbonisation of DRI Process in Rotary Kiln using Hydrogen as Reductant”

Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of Positions: 3
Fellowship: ₹37,000/month
Project Duration: 20 months
Type: Full-time, temporary
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.E. in Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Civil Engineering or allied branches
Additional Requirement: Valid GATE score
Job Description: Selected candidates will engage in both experimental and theoretical research:
Operate a lab-scale rotary kiln for studying iron ore reduction using hydrogen
Perform kinetic studies and simulate processes
Contribute to sustainable steel production through green hydrogen integration
