Patanjali Research Foundation is eagerly looking for a Research Scientist in Herbal Chemistry.
Requirements:

Experience in the extraction, isolation, and purification of known or unknown natural products.

Exposure to HPTLC, Flash Chromatography, FTIR, and other R&D instruments.

R&D experience in herbal and natural product chemistry.

Experience in handling a team.
-
Project preparation, execution, and closure.
-
Lab maintenance as per GLP requirements.
Job Responsibilities

Literature search, gap analysis, and manuscript writing.
-
Conduct experiments to isolate target molecules from natural sources.
-
Follow safety guidelines and lab best practices.

Analyze experimental results and compound characteristics.

Collaborate with analytical, in-vivo/in-vitro biology, and microbiology teams.

Ensure structure and purity of isolated compounds.
-
Scale-up production of valuable compounds.
-
Proper documentation in English.

Interpret data trends and generate analytical reports.

Deliver presentations on scientific output.
Requirements
-
Postgraduate in M.Sc. Natural Product Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or M. Pharma Pharmacognosy with 4–10 years’ relevant experience, OR
-
PhD with 4–6 years of relevant lab experience.

Practical/theoretical knowledge of R&D instruments.

Familiar with GMP and GLP practices.

Strong English documentation skills.

Analytical mindset with data interpretation capabilities.
