Job Description CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Understanding project objectives, outlining tasks, delivering, presenting results, and other related activities.
- Performs a variety of projects requiring an understanding of chemistries and paints.
- Interprets and applies department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations; ensures compliance with these areas.
- Based on the training provided, you should be able to perform complex projects that require professional judgment.
- Should be able to perform projects with minimum assistance and complete as per the committed timelines.
- To comply with HR, company, and safety procedures and policies.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of chemistries and paints
- Formulation of paints based on guidelines and paint calculations.
- Preparation of paint samples and applications
- Testing of liquid and dry film properties of paints
- Color matching
- Good verbal and written communications.
- Handling multiple projects and time management
- Interpreting and applying policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applicable applications.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 0 – 2 years of experience in paints
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in chemistry or B.Sc.Tech. / BE in Polymer/Paint Technology or equivalent education and experience.
