Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As an Analytical Scientist – API, your responsibilities will include:
Roles & Responsibilities
Scientific Research

Stay updated with literature on genotoxic impurities and chromatography techniques.
Method Development & Validation
-
Develop and optimize chromatography methods.

Validate methods and transfer to the QC department.
Regulatory & Documentation Support
-
Address regulatory queries related to analytical methods.

Prepare reports and maintain well-organized documentation.
Impurity Profiling
-
Conduct forced degradation studies and identify impurities.
Product & Stability Testing
-
Perform real-time sample analysis during development.
-
Compile and assess stability data.
Strategy & Process Improvement
-
Evaluate development strategies and plan for scale-up.
Procurement & Lab Operations
-
Source chemicals and equipment.

Maintain and calibrate instruments per GLP and SOPs.
Lab Maintenance

Ensure a clean, controlled lab environment for reliable testing.

Qualifications
- Educational qualification: Masters in Science/ Organic chemistry
- Minimum work experience: 4 years of experience in analytical method development
Skills & attributes:
- Technical Skills:
- Work experience on Process scale up of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.
- Experience in Process Optimization (Manufacturing).
- Experience in the development and regular analysis in Wet analysis-IR, Ultra Violet, Moisture analysis, Chromatographic techniques.
- Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and industry standards related to pharmaceutical product development and analysis.
- Proven experience in method validation and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
