The Scientist I for Cytiva is responsible for executing basic complexity laboratory projects. The position will generate test data related to specified protocols.
This position is part of the Fast Trak Validation Services located in Bangalore and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
- Execute and ensure intermediate complexity test work is completed as required, with minimal guidance.
- Review and ensure job requests, relevant MSDS, and fully understand requirements in accordance with laboratory SOPs, without guidance.
- Review and ensure documents are prepared appropriately using datasheets or laboratory notebooks, with minimal guidance.
- Review and ensure test apparatus are readily available and suitable, with minimal guidance.
- Ensure and operate, understand, and be able to troubleshoot all equipment/instrumentation necessary to support testing, with minimal guidance.
- Execute test work according to laboratory request requirements. Ensure raw data is recorded into laboratory notebooks (or similar). Immediately notify laboratory management of any test delays, problems, or deviations.
Who you are:
- MSc in Biochemistry, Chemistry with 1-5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Hands-on experience with handling, maintaining, and troubleshooting Balance, pH meter, UV, and HPLC equipment.
- Basic understanding of Analytical Equipment Validation.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Hands-on experience with handling, maintaining, and troubleshooting ICP-MS, LCMS-QToF, GCMSMS.
- Knowledge of Veeva QMS, Smartsheet & ValGenesis.
