Job Characteristics:
This is an entry-level professional position that serves as an advisor to the sales force, customers, and potential customers regarding the resolution of technical issues affecting the sales, installation, and utilization of products and/or services. The role involves:
- Proposing changes in products and/or services to achieve cost reductions and increased sales.
- Preparing operating manuals, references, or training materials for customers and the sales force.
Education/Work Experience:
- Degree or advanced degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical discipline.
- Fewer than two years of experience.
Independence Level/Reports to:
- Works under general supervision on assigned tasks or portions of a project.
- Typically reports to a Project/Program Leader or Director.
