Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
Name of Sponsoring agency Science and Engineering Research Board, India
Duration of the Project Initially for one year and can be extended to 2 years
Fellowship As per SERB norms Rs.31,000/- pm for GATE and CSIR-NET qualified candidates. Otherwise as per the norms of the University
Essential Qualification First Class in M. Sc. Chemistry. GATE / CSIR-NET qualification is preferred
Project Description Synthesising new organic fluorophores and exploring solid-state structural and fluorescence properties.
Desirable Fundamental knowledge in Chemistry with a desire to learn new techniques
How To Apply:
The candidate is expected to register for Ph.D. for this project work. Applicants may send their resume by email to the Principal Investigator, Dr. S. Philip Anthony, philip@biotech.sastra.edu on or before 15th January 2021. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a test and interview. The date of the test and interview will be notified by email only to the shortlisted candidates. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Online written test & interview will be conducted.
