The official notification for the Deakin University Doctoral Scholarships 2018-2019 has been announced. Indian students are eligible, there are 8 fully funded PhD scholarships for 2018-19 that are available. Interested candidates, check out all of the details on the same below:
Deakin’s South Asia operations started in 1994 at New Delhi, which makes it among the very first overseas education suppliers to establish operations in the area. The University has since established partnerships with a number of India’s top institutes and institutes.
India-based postgraduate students intending to study in Australia will have more reason to select Deakin because of their Higher Degree by Research, together with the announcement of eight brand new fully-funded PhD scholarships for 2018-19.
The scholarships will encourage research projects focusing on particular research topics and prepare a new generation of international leaders with the skills to deal with real and intricate challenges facing the entire world.
The high-value scholarships are available for select meritorious and excellent students from the fields of science, engineering, health, information technology, data analytics, intelligent technology, arts, business and management for the fulltime on-campus PhD program at Deakin.
The scholarships are available to students from the relevant areas. Scholarship
winners will be chosen according to academic merit in qualifying degrees, any previous research experience, publications, alignment with strategic research priorities and other applicable criteria of Deakin’s PhD program.Successful students will receive funding, including tuition costs, for three to four years to pursue doctorate degree degrees at Deakin, combined with education in innovation, leadership and other curricula created to advance their capability to induce ambitious change within an increasingly intricate world.
These fulltime on-campus PhD scholarships, value a collective AU$1.2 million, are especially created for excellent and meritorious India-based pupils who will help prepare a new generation of international leaders.
