Nano Science and Technology, Mohali.
Age Limit: Must not be over 35 years as on 6th November, 2017 which is relaxable for certain reserved categories as per rules of Government of India.
Salary: Rs.36,000/- + 10% HRA for Research Associate/ Rs. 45,000/- (consolidated) for Post-Doc
Job Description/Nature of Work:
Qualifications:
- Essential: Ph.D. degree or thesis submitted in the area of Computational Chemistry,
Theoretical Condensed Matters Physics. - Desirable: Research experience in Ab Initio Calculations, Density Functional Theory and
Molecular Dynamics Simulations. Programing skills in Fortran/C/C++/Python will be preferred
but not mandatory.
General Terms and Conditions:
The position is purely temporary and on contractual basis and renewable each year
subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of two years. The position is coterminus
with the project. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, however, candidates residing beyond
500 km from Mohali may opt for online interview.
