Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for the position of Project Assistant (PA) in the research project funded by ‘ECR – SERB, DST Scheme, Government of India at Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali.
Title of the Research Project: “Fabrication of Reusable Biocatalytic Microcapsules using Microfluidic Device”
Principal Investigator: Dr Debabrata Patra, Scientist-E.

Qualifications :
- Essential: M.Sc in Chemistry.
- Desirable: Candidate having synthetic organic chemistry/polymer chemistry background will be preferred. Experience in microfluidic device or nanomaterials synthesis will be an asset.
Age limit: Must not be over 28 years as on last date of submission of application. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per government rules.
Salary: Project Assistant: Rs. 14000/- + 20% HRA.
Project Duration: 3 years.
General Term and Condition: The position is purely temporary on contractual basis and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three years. The position is co-terminus with the project. Candidate selected for PA can also apply for the regular PhD program
