Applications are invited for a Walk-in-Interview of One (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow in a DST sponsored Indo-Hungary International Collaborative research project entitled “Biochemicals And Biofuels From Lignocellulosic Biomass By Green Catalytic Processes” under Principal Investigator Dr. D. Deka, Professor, Department of Energy, Tezpur University
Qualification:
- Essential – Master degree in Energy Technology with chemistry/chemical engineering background / Master degree in Chemical Engineering/ Post graduate in Chemical Science/Chemistry with NET qualification.
- Desirable – Candidate having experience in catalyst preparation and characterization, biofuel production via catalytic transformation of biomass will be preferred.
Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- only + 10% HRA as admissible per month for the first two years as JRF and Rs. 28,000/-only + 10% HRA as admissible per month for the third year as SRF.
Age limit: Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age as on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India Rules.
Duration: The appointment will be initially for a period of one (01) year, which may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and co-terminus with the project.
