The Regional Engineering College, Warangal was the first to be established (in 1959) among the chain of 15 Regional Engineering Colleges in the country. In September 2002, the college was renamed as National Institute of Technology and was given a deemed university status. NITW was given the status of Institute of National Importance (INI) on 15 August 2007. NIT Warangal was ranked 34 among engineering colleges by the National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2017. Careers360 has given it the second best rating, “AAAA+”, among engineering colleges in 2017.

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow

Work Location: Warangal

Project Title: “Design, Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Thiazolidinone-Tetrazolopyrimidine Hybrid Molecules as Anti-Cancer Agents”

Principal Investigator: Dr. B. Srinivas, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry

Funding Agency: CSIR (EMR)

Stipend: Rs.25, 000/- p.m. (for first Two years) and Rs.28, 000/- p.m. (for 3rd year)

Qualifications:

B.Sc. Ist class (Chemistry) or M.Sc. Ist class (Organic Chemistry / General Chemistry)
(With valid GATE or NET score)
