Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on DST-SERB sponsored research project entitled “Nanosized gold supported on metal oxides as potential catalysts for partial oxidation of methane” at the National Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, University of Madras, Guindy Campus, Chennai- 600 025.

Qualifications

M.Sc., in Chemistry/Nanoscience & Nanotechnology with minimum of 60% marks. Candidates with valid NET/ GATE will be preferred or M.Tech., in Chemical Engineering/Nanotechnology.
(Final year students are also eligible to apply but at the time of interview proof for the above requested profile need to be submitted).

Fellowship

  • JRF with CSIR-NET /GATE: Rs. 25,000 + HRA*/month for two years and Rs. 28,000 + HRA * /month for third & fourth year.
  • JRF without CSIR-NET/GATE: Rs.-14,000 + HRA */month for two years and Rs. 16,000 + HRA * /month for third & fourth year
  • *as per University rules.
