Project Title – “Bromophycolides as Antimalarial and Anticancer Natural Products: Their Total Synthesis using Asymmetric Organocatalytic α- bromination Reaction”
Name of Sponsoring Agency – SERB, DST, Government of India
Tenure of the Project – 3 years. (Jan, 2017 to Jan, 2020)
Tenure of the Assignment – Extendable annually till completion of project, subject to satisfactory performance.
Job Description – Research work related to project.
Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship –
- Without GATE/NET qualification:
- Rs.16,000/- per month (1 st and 2nd year)
- Rs. 18,000/- per month (3 rd year)
- With GATE/NET qualification:
- Rs. 25,000/- per month (1 st and 2nd year)
- Rs. 28,000/- per month (3rd year)
Qualifications –
Essential –
M.Sc. in Chemistry with 65% mark or above; NET/GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.
Desirable –
Prior research work experience in Organic Chemistry, specialisation in Organic Chemistry in MSc.
