Project Abstract

The fundamental questions in molecular biology are, how the protein folds, how do the molecules assemble in multi-molecular units and how do species cross the membrane? Answer to these and similar questions require measurement of distances between sites in the protein. EPR provides a unique insight into distances between locations in biological systems and can be applied

to any system that has two paramagnetic centers.
