CSIR-CSMCRI invites applications for the post of Project Assistant (PA-II)

With a coastline of about 3,500 miles, inland sources in Rajasthan and Little Rann of Kutch, and the rock salt mines in Mandi, India have possibilities of attaining a high position in salt production among the salt producing countries of the world. As is known, apart from being an indispensable item of food, salt is an important raw material for the manufacture of several heavy chemicals e.g. soda ash, caustic soda and chlorine. Besides, salt is used in food processing industries, such as fish curing, meat packing, dairy products and fruit and vegetable canning.

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens, for 2 positions of Project Assistant (PA-II) to work in CSIR project related to hollow fiber membranes for water clarification and disinfection.

Job Title: Project Assistant (PA-II)

Project Title: Hollow fiber membrane based high flux domestic filter for water clarification and disinfection

Job Description: Temporary Teaching Assistants are expected to assist the institute in Teaching UG/PG Courses, curriculum development, delivery and evaluation. They have to be academically strong in their respective areas and communicate effectively to the students.

Qualification:

  • M.Sc. Chemistry/ B.E. / B. Tech. Chemical Engg. with minimum 55 % marks or equivalent

No. of Posts: Two

Remuneration: Rs. 25000/-p.m.

General Instructions:

  • The maximum age limit is 28 years for PA-II as on the interview date  The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically handicapped categories and for woman applicants who are widowed, divorced or judicially separated from their husbands and are not remarried. The upper age limit is relaxable for 3 years for applicants belonging to OBC category.
