Name of the Project : OptoMechatronics technologies for next generation sensors and applications

PF/SPF

Qualification : M.Sc. with minimum 55% marks in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science/Electronic Science/ Nanotechnology/Electronics or equivalent with a valid UGC-CSIR NET (JRF)/GATE score or B.E. / B.Tech. with minimum 55% marks in Mechanical,/ Material Science/Metallurgy/Electronics/ Nanotechnology or equivalent with a valid UGC-CSIR NET (JRF)/GATE score. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Programming (C, C++), MatLab. 01 Position (PF): B.E. / B. Tech. with minimum 55% marks in Mechanical Engg. or equivalent with a valid UGC/CSIR NET (JRF)/GATE score. Desirable: Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering Software. 01 position (SPF or PF) For SPF- M.E./ M.Tech. with minimum 60% marks in Computer Science/Electronics and communication Engg./ Instrumentation Engg./ Mechatronics/ Advanced Instrumentation Engg. or equivalent For PF- B.E. / B.Tech. with minimum 55% marks in Computer Science/Electronics and communication Engg./ Instrumentation Engg./ Mechatronics/ Advanced Instrumentation Engg. or equivalent with a valid UGC-CSIR NET (JRF)/GATE score

JRF

Qualification : 1st class M.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Material Science/Electronic Science/Nanotechnology/Electronics/ Biotechnology or equivalent or 1st class B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical/Material Science/ Metallurgy/Electronics/ Nanotechnology/ Biotechnology or equivalent . The candidates who have passed NET/GATE will be given preference. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Programming (C, C++), MatLab.

Qualification : For RA- Ph.D. in Applied Physics. Desirable:- Work experience in design and modelling of Slow light, Photonic crystal fibres, Plasmonic devices, Hybrid Nanostructures and Metamaterials. For SRF- M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics/ Applied Optics/Material Science or equivalent with a valid UGC-CSIR NET score plus two years of research experience or M. E./M.Tech. in Applied Optics/Optoelectronics/ Photonics or equivalent with two years of research experience. Desirable:- Work experience in design and modelling of Slow light, Photonic crystal fibres, Plasmonic devices, Nanostructures

Age Limit : The upper age limit for Project Fellow is 28 years and Senior Project Fellow is 32 years. The upper age limit for RI is 25 years

Stipend :  Rs.15000/- for Research Intern (RI), 16,000+ HRA for Project Fellow (PF), 18,000+ HRA for Senior Project Fellow (SPF), Rs.25000/- + HRA for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for first two years and 28000/- + HRA for 3rd year, Rs. 28000/- + HRA from Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and 36000/- + HRA for Research Associate (RA)
