Designation : Project Fellow//Project Assistant II/III

Qualification: M.Sc Chemistry (Physical/Inorganic/Organic/Analytical/Materials/Industrial/ Polymer/General/Equivalent with Chemistry as the main subject at Masters Level).

  1. Designation:  Project Fellow

Qualification: M.Sc Chemistry (as above) with minimum 55% marks with NET Qualified (CSIR-UGC JRF or equivalent) as per HRDG guidelines

Remuneration /pm: Rs. 16,000/- + HRA

2. Designation: Project Assistant II

Qualification: M.Sc Chemistry (as above) with minimum 55% marks with LS/GATE (Fresh)

Remuneration /pm: Rs.14,000/- (consolidated)

3. Designation: Project Assistant II

Qualification: M.Sc Chemistry (as above) with minimum 55% marks (Fresh)

Remuneration /pm: Rs.12,000/- (consolidated)

4. Designation: Project Assistant III

Qualification: M.Sc Chemistry (as above) with minimum 55% marks and two years’ experience and with LS/GATE

Remuneration /pm: Rs.16,000/- (consolidated)

5. Designation: Project Assistant III

Qualification: M.Sc Chemistry (as above) with minimum 55% marks and two years’ experience

Remuneration /pm: Rs.14,000/- (consolidated)

Those who appeared M.Sc final year examination (in 2016) whose results are awaited may also apply. However, appointment/offer would be made subject to qualifying the examination as detailed above.

General Conditions:-

Age limit: 28 years for Project Fellows/Project Assistant II as on the

date of interview

Age limit: 32 years for Project Assistant III as on the date of interview

For all categories, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in the case of applicants belonging to scheduled castes/tribes and physically handicapped. The women applicants who are widowed, divorced or judicially separated from their husbands and are not remarried shall also be given age relaxation by 5 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by3 years in the case of applicants belonging to OBC category.

Job description :

Applications are invited from young, enthusiastic and dynamic research oriented candidates to join the scientific teams and actively involve themselves and pursue in globally challenging projects as outlined below sanctioned under XII Five Year Plan of CSIR-CSMCRI:

v Catalytic transformation for fine and speciality chemicals under the program – Innovate, develop and up-scale modular, agile, intensified and continuous processes and plants (Indus MAGIC; CSC0123)

v Develop adsorbents for CO2 and utilization of CO2 to fuels and fuel additives – Clean Coal Technologies (TapCoal; CSC0102)

These posts are purely temporary for the duration of sponsored project/scheme (till 31st March 2017) only. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR.
