Applications are invited for the post of junior research fellow (JRF) to work in the project entitled
“Optimization of Various Nano Rare Earth Metal Oxides Based System as Electrocatalysts for
Oxygen Reduction Reactions” funded by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) of the
department of science and technology (DST), New Delhi. Applications can be sent via email or by
post to the principal investigator on or before 21st September 2017.

Oxygen Reduction Reactions”

Age limit : Maximum of 28 years as on the last date of receipt of application

Project duration : 3 years

Fellowships : JRF-NET Qualified Candidates: Fellowship of Rs.25, 000/- per month for initial two years and Rs.28, 000/- per month for remaining years along with HRA as per SERB guidelines.

Educational qualifications : M. Sc degree in Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute having
a minimum of 55% (50% in case of SC/ST/PH candidates) marks or equivalent CGPA, preferably
with CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or any other similar type of National Eligibility Test (NET). Candidates
with prior experience in working with electrochemistry will

be given preferences.

Fellowships : JRF-NET Qualified Candidates: Fellowship of Rs.25, 000/- per month for initial two
years and Rs.28, 000/- per month for remaining years along with HRA as per SERB guidelines.

Application Instructions:

Date of interview: 23.09.2017 (Saturday) 11.00 AM at the department of chemistry, Ravenshaw
University, Cuttack. Application containing detailed CV affixed with photograph and name of two
referees should be submitted with master degree marksheet and certificate (Xerox) during the time of
interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

General terms and conditions: the position is purely temporary and co-terminated with the duration of
project. The position is renewable each year to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three years
only.
