Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under the DST-SERB sponsored project entitled “Development of Highly Efficient Electrode Materials for Rechargeable Li-Ion Batteries with In-situ Monitoring of Safety Issues by Embedded Flexible Micro-sensor” – ECR/2017/000095/ES.
Eligibility:
- First Class M.Sc./M.E/M.TechDegree with preferable background of Electrochemistry / Chemical & Electrochemical Engineering or Metallurgical & Materials Engineering / Nanotechnology with valid GATE/CSIR/UGC-NET score.
- The interested candidates should have at-least one-year research experience in the field of Li/Na-ion battery Technology.
Fellowship:
- First and Second Year 25,000/Month (Consolidated) (M.Sc./ME/M.Tech with GATE/CSIR/UGC-NET)
- Third Year 28,000/Month
Project Duration: 3 Years
Travel Allowance: 2nd Class Sleeper by Train.
Registration for Ph.D:
- Subject to fulfillment Ph.D admission criteria of SRM University, Kattankulathur-603203, Chennai, the selected candidate may register for full-time Ph.D. program.
