A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 27.07.2017 at 11-00 A.M at this Institute to engage bonafide Indian citizen in the following project, tenable at CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata as per details furnished below:

Project Title : “Development of technology for Nd-doped phosphate laser glass blocks,” sponsored by DAE, BRNS
Tenure : Initially 2 Years like to be extend for another 1 year depending upon the satisfactory progress of the candidate Or Co-terminus with the duration of the project, whichever is earlier
Age Limit :
- For JRF : 28 Years.
- For SRF : 32 Years
The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped.
Qualifications:
- For JRF : M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics/Chemistry. Preference will be given to those candidates having 1st Class degree with NET/GATE
- For SRF : M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics/Chemistry with 2 years of research experience. Preference will be given to those candidates having 1st Class degree
Application Instructions:
Interested candidates are requested to attend the above Walk-in-Interview along with Application Form & Bio-Data in the prescribed format as furnished herein-under, duly TYPED (not hand-written) enclosing self attested copies of each supporting documents/certificates. Separate Application is required, if applied for more than one position(s)/Advt. No(s). The original certificates should also be brought with him/her at the time of interview for verification. The candidates should carry copies of their project thesis with them, if any. The candidates should report at least one hour before the scheduled time of interview for verification of documents. Deviation from it may lead to administrative complications. Incomplete applications without prescribed format and supporting documents will be summarily rejected. Candidates who are presently engaged in any Project either in CGCRI or any other Organization/Labs/Instts., should produce the NOC from his/her existing Project Leader, failing which, they will not be allowed to appear in the interview. Candidates who are waiting for final result, may also be provisionally eligible for appearing before the interview board, subject to production of final result within a specified time-limit, before joining, if selected. Candidate(s) must calculate the percentage from CGPA/DGPA as per the calculation rule of University/Institute (Self Attested copy of the rule to be attached), failing which he/she may not be allowed to appear in the Interview Board. The tenure of the above positions is co-terminus with the duration of the project. CSIR-CGCRI reserves the right not to fill up the position (s), if it so desired by the Competent Authority may increase/decrease the number of position, as per the requirement of the Institute. The above mentioned positions are purely on contractual basis. There is no provision of re-employment after expiry of contract period. The selected candidates shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute. The decision of the Institute shall be final in this regard. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature. Interim enquiries in this respect will not be entertained.
