Applications are invited for the position of “Junior Research Fellow” in chemistry. The project is funded by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences and it is to be completed at Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. The details of the project and the aforementioned position are as follows:

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Project Title: “Aggregation Induced Emission in Fluorescent Materials: Synthesis and Applications”

Funding Agency: Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences

Consolidated Monthly Pay : Rs. 25,000/-

Qualifications:

  • Essential: MSc in Chemistry with minimum 65% marks or 6.5 CPI with NET qualification.
  • Desired: Excellent oral and written communication skills with capacity to work in a team. Candidates who have experience in synthetic organic chemistry are preferable.

The shortlisted candidates will be called for written examination /interview. The final selection of candidates will be decided on his / her merit and performance in the interview / written test or both the tests.
